What are the films you've seen that you found most disapointing?
For me I think it was Princess Blade! I really expected something special from that film and was just mediocre...should've been so much more:(

lol, I actually liked Battlefield Baseball....though I can entirely see why you wouldn't! Was the most insane movie:) It's not a film I would ever recommend to anyone...crazy! 2LDK was dissapointing as well! I always think of it with Aragami (for obvious reasons) and was OK...but no more than that! Speaking of Shaolin Soccer I just ordered "The Cup" which is supposed to be something that inspired Shaolin Soccer uk.imdb.com/title/tt0201840/ anyone seen this?

'The Bride With White Hair 2'.
The first one's great, a real classic, but number 2 is one big anticlimax. Shame, really, as it ties up the story quite nicely.
And Sammo Hung's 'Pantyhose Hero', which I thought must be a winner with a title like that. It's not.
Anyone else seen these?

Battle Royale 2. It started off great and I got myself comfortable expecting big things, but then half way through it just lost it completely. In the end, I couldn't wait for it to finish.

I think The Bride with white hair 2 was "ok". Surely not as great as the first... but not really bad either... it's just most sequel all are: trying to be as good as the first, ends up disapointing. Altho I think it was pretty Ok... Battle Royale 2. It started off great and I got myself comfortable expecting big things, but then half way through it just lost it completely. In the end, I couldn't wait for it to finish. You either like or hate BR2... personally I did liked it. Of course it's not as good as BR1... But I did liked the turn of event... Sure there was alot of plot holes: none existent Character Backgrounds being the most disapointing part of them... I did liked the way BR2 came along... I liked it... 7/10 Good material but I only hope of a "Extended Special Edition" would correct it's flaws.

VERSUS!!!!
Really cannot comprehend the popularity of this film as quite frankly it bored the arse off me. Zombies, Yakuza, Kung Fu, Guns and gore....how can you screw up with a combo like that? Well by having a good third of your films running time consist of shots of schmucks in shades staring each other down.
No story, no proper characters, no sense of plotting wahtsoever....no bloody point. The fights are crap too.

I still haven't watched one missed call, was really looking forward to it but since I got It I heard pretty much nothing but bad stuff! Zebraman lived up to all expectations and more though:)

Azumi 2, seems like the majority of sequels are never up to the standard let alone better than prequels. It's a shame Kitamura didnt work on the 2nd. Storyline was much weaker and fight scenes were more of the same with unreal "boss" characters.
I did enjoy Kung Fu Hustle but I was a tad dissapointed. The fights were entertaining and there was plenty of comedy but I felt it was not as funny as some of his other films, Shaolin soccer and fight back to school spring to mind.
